Filling in the blanks

I’ve just been reading an article online. Words look like something else sometimes. I think my brain fills in the gap, beavering away, trying to compute what the tiny bit missing from the letter could be. And it is only a small tiny gap, but now and again that makes all the difference in a genius, accidental way.

Now, it’s happened a few times before, I only seem to remember the funny instances. Although, this happens every few days at the moment, so not much.

But, the same word… Cook… Yes, Cook. Pops up again and again… Sometimes I read the word cook, sometimes I don’t. Even typing this is becoming amusing. It\’s like a little friend to make me realise, this condition can have funny moments. It makes me actually properly Laugh out loud.

Anyway. That’s all innocent and lovely until you have a pin hole sized blurry spot in your vision.

I’m sure I don’t have to spell it out to you do I?… Cook.

So. Tonight I’m reading a story about a young woman who has had her baby early. At 23 weeks. Then there was this one word, a name. This one made me say ‘Wow’ out loud.

Today the new one is… premature Amal. 🤔😕😁

Not all doom and gloom

It isn’t all doom and gloom though. There are some funny moments now 4 plus years down the line.

Shouting the dog to come in when she’s already in.
Waiting at the bus stop and just hesitating enough as you are not 100% sure to put your arm out for the dark coloured van or one was a mini 😃

In a shop thinking, oh I need a sewing kit and its a cup when you pick it up. This is one of many.

Staring at something to make out what it is if you can’t pick it up is something I do everyday. My eyes seem to focus a second or two later..its like one of those magic pictures from years ago at times.

Thinking the dog is everywhere due to black blob.

Been shown a picture on a phone and saying ‘oh yeah’. Could be anything.
