New War of the Worlds series

A woman holding her hands together in a heart
New World of the Worlds series has a character with Stargardt disease, good to know that people will be aware of macular dystrophy and how it can affect you. Good on them for highlighting this condition ☺

Happy new year ☺

Happy New year everyone ☺
This year it’s all about making visual memories for me, and to do and see the things I want to see as this does feel like a runaway train.
I also want to spend alot of time with people just because I worry I won’t remember their faces. Details are quite blurry now and have to stop myself doing the ‘starey’ thing.
As there isn’t a date or a timeline as docs can only give us an estimate which was 5 to 15 years from diagnosis for me.
I’m going into the year positive but also aware that the last few years my vision has declined.
It does usually plateau out after a period of decline I’ve been told so hopefully everything will be fine ☺
I’m still waiting to see the retinal specialist for my test results.
