Drinks for Delivery Drivers

Still very sunny here in the UK.

It’s been marvelous weather for a while now.

My house and garden renovations are still ongoing. But as I like to say, it’s all cosmetic now and the potential dangerous and outdated stuff has been replaced.

That means I’ve had to research a lot of the stuff that’s going back in. I’m being very methodical. After having a skip at the start of this last year. NOTHING and I mean NOTHING that’s not needed is going in this house. What I have discovered though is Amazon. I’ve never really used Amazon for buying stuff. I know. I’m very late to this.

As my eyesight has deteriorated though, it’s alot easier for me to research products online at length on my phone where I have the largest font used and I can zoom in.

In a shop most of the time, I cannot see the details or colour properly nowadays. So you can easily get annoyed with yourself and give up. I do think you ought to shop locally if possible, but it’s becoming increasingly harder.

So this is a new clock and some more painting bits.

I did nearly have a major calamity though ordering stuff. I’ll post about that at a later date.

It finally feels like my home is coming back to me. I can actually start doing stuff myself now.

I still need the electrian back at somepoint as my kitchen has taken the brunt of the redo. It’s dire, But I’m not ready for the kitchen attacked as yet. And I’ve been galavanting about too while the weather is so beautiful here.

Also remember that all these delivery drivers will be working hard in this hot weather. They must be boiling. I’ve just given a lovely lady delivery driver a couple of cold cans of pop. I keep giving them out as I get loads from my shopping to keep in. Bulk buying them is cheap. It doesn’t cost much to be nice. I don’t think I can part with any of my ice pops as yet, ‘cos I just keep eating them! They’re so nice 😁

PD One large and one smaller cardboard parcels sit on a brown carpet. The sun shines through the window onto the packages on the floor.
