Some progression in my sight loss

A few weeks ago I rang Boots opticians as I thought I could do with a spare pair of reading glasses.
I’m so protective of my readers as they are letting me keep reading books on my phone and keeping in touch with people via all the messaging media we have today.
They couldn’t send the prescription out as the branch is shut near me.
I had some lovely retro wing style tortoiseshell lovelies in my basket online ready and waiting ☺
OK I thought, it’s only for a spare pair… I will just treasure the ones that I have. I’m very protective of them.
I had noticed the last few weeks that whilst painting I had to put my readers on as if I didn’t it would have looked like a monkey 🙊 had painted my kitchen.
But yesterday… I’m reading something on my phone and thought ‘where are my glasses’…
I had them on. This doesn’t bode well does it?
So some progression of the disease has happened and another call to Boots to see if I can get an eye test appointment will have to happen if this gets any worse… Or maybe a bigger phone as I’m already on huge font.
Yes… That’s a thing. Samsung call their biggest font… Huge…
Keep safe everyone ☺

Online and telephone support Macular Society

Added stress can cause havoc to your eyesight anyway, especially during these strange days.
The Macular Society are still there to listen and help if you are finding life an extra struggle.

As for me. There isn’t any more changes to my eyesight at the moment. I seem to be going through a stable period. So, there isn’t much to report about that as my results appointment won’t be for some time now. Which is completely fine by me as our NHS have more than enough to cope with, because of the current situation.

Keep safe and well everyone… we CAN do this. #spreadlovenotcorona ☺
